A little spark. A world of discovery.

I'm Rachael — mum to two toddlers, wife and business owner. I became slightly obsessed with sensory play when I could see the benefits for my two toddlers. Not just keeping them busy (even though they will often sit and play with a sensory tray for 45 mins to an hour!) but actually developing their fine motor skills, helping with their focus and concentration and giving them space to really use their imagination through open ended play, and the joy that brought them (and me!)

The problem was the sourcing. Every kit I wanted to put together meant five different online orders, a trip to the craft store and hours of prep. I couldn't find anything that was a complete kit, that was substantial and had every single piece I needed so I could just do the play and not spend all my time running around sourcing.

So I did what any completely reasonable person would do and created my own. Every Spark & Senses kit is built around the question I kept asking myself: what would actually make my kids stop, sit down, and play deeply? The answer was always the same — the right combination of textures, a discovery element, something beautiful to look at, and enough open-ended possibility that the story could go anywhere. The fine motor development, the hand strength, the pincer grasp, the coordination all happens naturally on the side, because kids are too busy playing to notice - and there is not a screen in sight!
  
 Everything you need is in the box. No sourcing. No prep. No missing pieces. Just open it and watch what happens. I built this for mums who know this kind of play matters but don't have two hours to pull it together.
